Observation Narrative
The wettest zone of a sinkhole peatland herbaceous community complex. This community is likely shallowly inundated nearly year round if not always. Glyceria canadensis and Eleocharis palustris restricted to exposed Sphagnum microsites.
Plot center is 21 m N39E from 8-trunk Acer rubrum on edge of woods. (Largest of trunks is ca. 12 cm dbh). Long axis of plot runs N30E.
